What we do: Eat Move Believe is a non-profit organization providing free workshops that focus on how much to eat, when and why, and the importance of regular exercise and a positive attitude. Thanks to our generous sponsors we donate books to coaches, educators, counselors and students to enhance education about developing healthy habits for life.
Why we do it: To help teens and adults feel and look their best by making smart food choices, respecting their bodies and believing in themselves. To empower young adults with confidence. To emphasize that the information we need to achieve optimal health is simple and already built into who we are. Because we care about people.
The give back: In addition to supporting our readers, we donate 100% of the proceeds to charity. By purchasing and learning with Eat Move Believe you not only help yourself, but you change the life of someone in need. Now that’s powerful!
To provide the tools and knowledge essential for basic good health.
Malia Lewis wanted to give back to her communities of family and friends. She developed a seminar series about healthy eating and weight loss drawn from the myriad of life experiences as a personal trainer, nutrition consultant, aerobics instructor and a career as an anatomy professor, and offered seminars at no cost to participants. Eat Move Believe was born out of the desire to provide simple, clear, true information to our youth with the hope that developing good habits at a young age will enhance quality of life and prevent illness. She believes that a strong physical and mental foundation will set up teens and young adults for future successes in life.
